Geelong St Patrick's Racing Club has a very proud history in Geelong, having been racing for over 100 years. The club holds its annual race meeting during Autumn, usually in March, and is part of the Festival of Racing. Geelong St Pat's is actively involved in the Geelong community. The Geelong St Patrick's Cup is awarded to the winning horse in the 1400m cup field – the distance was changed in 2008 in the hope of attracting a larger field to the race. On-course punters can enjoy a variety of packages in marquees, dining areas, purchasing delicious food from on-course caterers or by bringing your own picnic and sitting on the lawn. The food produced by the oncourse catering team is among the best in Geelong. The local charities which the club supports have included Anam Cara House, Barwon Youth Accommodation Service, Vincentian House and St John of God Health Care.

The Club is a sponsor of Time for Youth, a charity which it has supported for the past five years. Time for Youth makes a difference in the lives of young people and their families who are in crisis. Aged 12-24, these young people are provided with a range of services including crisis accommodation, youth housing and support, meals, development of life skills, counselling, mediation and support for parents. Time for Youth provides crisis housing at Mt Duneed and Colac.

The Geelong St Patrick's Racing Club committee includes local business men and women and our sponsors are local businesses. Membership of the club is available by completing a form online. Get on board now!
